Hitting shelves in February this year ‘10 Green Geckos’ is a retelling of ‘Ten Green Bottles‘ that is both entertaining and fun with cheeky geckos, but also a way to help young children count backwards without realizing it.  584845

The illustrations by Lloyd Foye are phenomenal. With such vivid colors and detail it allows your imagination to run wild with the scenes he is presenting to you. The images are just fun, and will definitely entertain.

The book is predominantly for children learning to count, that puts in the 2-8 category. Its a beautiful book that is a lot of fun and takes you on an adventure with 10 very cheeky geckos.

And although they do all disappear one by one, which may cause fears of questions being asked about where they go – not to worry, all ten geckos make a revival at the end to ease the mind of any questioning small child.
