Triumph for the ‘Nerds’

In February a book hit the shelves that gives power to those stereotyped as ‘Nerds’. Targeted at kids aged 7 it is aimed for readers before this concept of stereotyping hits the classroom in a way that can lead to bullying later in life.
8094072_ZWritten by Shogun Whamhower it is a book of fun and adventure and gives power to kids who look a little geeky and become the ‘loveable underdogs’.

I absolutely love this book, it gives nerds a wonderful look and could at some level help younger kids want to be a little nerdy or at least think nerds are ‘cool’.

This is the second book in the series where the boys continue their ninja training in order to defeat their enemies. “Ninja training continues for Jake, Ben, Pongo and Veejay, under the masterful eye of Sensei Lee…when he’s not too busy eating ice-cream and watching beach volleyball on TV. “

Its full of fun illustrations and creative doodles on each page and exciting battles against ‘really scary stuff”, which lets face it is the stuff that we need help battling against.
