After reading the heart wrenching Twenty Boy Summer and Fixing Delilah I was more than excited to get my hands on a copy of Bittersweet by Sarah Ockler and it was worth the wait!. This book was an amazing heart-warming story about love and discovering who you really are, may that be a world class figure skater or a simple cupcake baker. Following the story of the extraordinary Hudson and her adorable family as they fight their way through the bitter cold during winter in New York City. This winter involved mending old bridges and building new ones with cute boys and loving friends. Fighting the cold involves boys, friends, family and loads of cupcakes!
I would recommend this book for 14+
