Vowing to never play music again she believes it’s all over, until some offers her the chance to start over but it comes at a price, someone she didn’t know existed. Jess does and when she leaves with her estranged grandmother she soon discovers her secret past and unearths why her mother was so desperate to leave this place and her grandmother included. How fare will she go to find love, success and family?.

Finding a book that is aimed at musically fascinated people these days is uncommon but Broken Strings is a little gem. This book is filled with heart racing romance and dramatic twists around every corner, keeping you reading for hours. This book was easy to relate too, well written and very enjoyable. I would give this book a 3.5 out of 5 and recommend it for ages 13+.
